One type of technology i could not live without is fire. Fire is used for warmth, hot water, cooking, and explosions. You need to keep warm to live. you need hot water for cleaning an making warm drinks like coffee. Cooking is very important.  Cooked food helps prevent you from getting sick. Fire is what made us so intelligent. Before fire was discovered It took early hominids more energy to digest the raw meat and other foods they ate. When they discovered fire they cooked meat and the excess energy they didn't need to digest their food went to the brain making tem more intelligent.
